横浜テクニカルサポートオフィス(YTSO)は通常の船級規則、国際条約を適用した船の設計図面承認、艤装品型式承認業務に加えお客様の新船設計の開発のお手伝いをいたします。
YTSOは次の四技術グループと事務グループで構成されています。
- 船殻構造グループ
- 船殻構造グループは通常の船殻構造図面承認業務に加えて、お客様に代わりShipRight SDAに基づく船体構造強度計算、ShipRight FDAに基づく船体構造寿命計算を行います。お客様の新規標準船の開発のお手伝い、新ルールの適用上の問題点に対する解決法をお客様の立場からアドバイスします。
- 機関＆配管グループ
- 機関＆配管グループは、機器配置、軸系、船体及び機関部配管、主機、補機、ボイラ・圧力容器、振動特性、型式承認(ロイドType Approval, MED適合証明、MCA Type Approval)などの通常の図面承認業務に加えて、お客様が新しいシステムならびに装置を開発する際に規則・条約に適合させる上での技術的アドバイスをいたします。
- 電気制御グループ
- 電気制御グループは新しい技術の規則適合へのアドバイス、電気部図面承認、電気制御機器の型式承認、プログラマブル・コンピュータのソフトウエア承認等の幅広いサービスを提供いたします。
- 国際条約グループ
- 国際条約グループは通常の国際条約に関する図面承認業務に加えて、将来要求される規則などの情報を提供しお客様の設計のためのお手伝いをいたします。

Yokohama Technical Support Office (YTSO) provides support for our clients in the development of new ship designs in addition to normal plan approval services, from ship Classification and Statutory aspects to type approval of machinery and components.
YTSO consists of four technical groups and an administration group as follows
- Hull Structure Group (HSG)
- HSG performs plan approval of hull structures plans and ShipRight SDA/FDA computation to support client's design development. HSG helps clients to develop new standard ship designs by offereing focused technical advice and also offers solutions for clients who would like assistance in applying new rules and regulations.
- Machinery and Piping Group (MPG)
- MPG performs plan approval of machinery and piping system plans to support clients and offers type approval of equipment and components (Lloyd's Register's Type approval, MED certification, MCA Type Approval) and technical advice for client's designing new systems and equipment.
- Electrotechnical Systems Group(ESG)
- ESG offers to our clients a wide range of services including technical advice, electrical plan approval, type approval of electrical components and software conformity assessment of programmable electronic equipment from electrical & control engineering aspects.
- Statutory Services Group (SSG)
- SSG performs plan approval of statutory plans in accordance with the International Conventions and supports clients with advice on statutory requirements which will become mandatory.
